I received the most beautiful statues from Sutimi, both the San Martin de Porres and lone St. Joseph holding his hammer. As you'll see in many of the reviews, Suti is an absolute joy to talk with during the process. I'd actually made an error in ordering the "wrong" size for San Martin, and she was quick to respond, courteous and warm. Within a day or two she had followed up to let me know the corrected order was on its way, and it showed up VERY well packaged just a day or two after that. If you find a statue here that speaks to you, go for it. Best shop I've ordered from on Etsy and I wish all the best for them :)

Since seeing the amazing statue of St Martin de Porres carved by Father Thomas McGlynn OP (see image), I have wanted one. But good luck with that! This statue is clearly a copy of that statue, and while it isn't as beautiful, it does the trick. The statue was carefully packaged and arrived in great condition. There seems to be a small area on the base where his name could have been carved--a missed opportunity.
